Welcome from the Governors in our School’s Federation

On behalf of the staff, children, and Governors, we would like to welcome you to Haringey Early Years Alliance of Schools (HEYSA). Our websites will show you how we work to support our nursery schools and children’s centres, staff,  children and their families and our wider school communities.

The positive, joyful and warm atmosphere and ambitious drive for excellence at HEYSA makes our schools and centres very special places.

Our children are placed at the heart of everything we do. Our staff teams are experts in Early Education and truly committed to developing every child, led by our executive Headteacher Sian McDermott. We recognise that an exceptional education will give our children the opportunity to succeed in their chosen path in life. We work closely with families and our communities through our children’s centres and schools to work in partnership.

Our schools’ curriculum is unique to each school giving the teachers the opportunity to be highly responsive to young children. Our curriculum design ensures children can wallow in their fascinations, while giving them the building blocks to be ready to start school. Our children learn about the world they are growing up in and learning experiences and opportunities help them to explore the awe and wonder of growing up today. Every opportunity is taken by each school to enrich the curriculum with first hand play opportunities and experiences.

A love of the outdoors is a true strength in both of our schools and through our curriculum children learn to love nature and experience the seasons, first hand.
